Sheena Hilleary is the owner and driving spirit behind Logie Farm Riding Establishment.

A former British Ladies ski Champion and Olympic Downhill racer, she ran a small riding establishment in Forres before opening Logie Farm in 1974. She has ridden since she was a small child hunting and competing succesfully in shows, gymkhanas and hunter trials. She was also selected for a mounted display at Olympia in London.

She finds it important to remember that riding is a sport, therefore all instructions are based on enjoyment and fun, with very sound techniques. Her motto is "fun safely".

Since 1976 students have trained at Logie for BHS exams. Is is now an official training centre for both BHS and SNVQ qualifications. Over the years many students have passed their exams successfully.

The horses are part of family. They are loved and not treated like bicycles. So they are happy and content.

Claire has been working at Logie Farm Riding Centre since 1995. She has her S/NVQ level 3 (Scottish/National Vocational Qualification) and is an assessor for S/NVQ level 2 and 3 students at Logie Farm Riding School. In her all-round leading role at Logie she most enjoys teaching of teenagers and student and is almost always accompanied by her two friendly collies 'Flick' and 'Hannah'.

Claire has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge through her employement on several large, successful yards in racing, show jumping, hunting, eventing before settling at Logie Farm. She thoroughly enjoys taking part in all types of competition, especially eventing, with her horse 'Kit'.

Sandra has been coming to Logie farm Riding Centre since 2004, the first 2 years as a client, thereafter as a member of staff. Sandra has qualified for S/NVQ level 3 and for a course called 'Care for competition horses'. At Logie Farm Riding School she most enjoys teaching.

Her horse is called 'Minstrel' and she is currently looking out for a dressage horse.

Morven's career at Logie Farm Riding Centre started in 2001 as a S/NVQ student and stayed working at Logie after qualifying for levels 1, 2 and 3. At Logie she enjoys the good atmosphere, being around horses and teaching children. Morven is a keen and successful eventer who has got 2 horses, 'Paddy' and 'Archie' and a friendly collie called 'Jodie'.

Stevie first came to Logie Farm Riding Centre as a client in 2007 to get lessons, he soon got his own horse and since the summer of 2009 he is an S/NVQ level 2 and 3 student with his horse 'Sox'. He enjoys working at Logie Farm Riding School as he feels he's part of one big family and everyday is different.

After qualifying at Logie he is ambitious to compete at high level and perhaps own his own horsey business or yard.
