Logie Farm is the ideal place for riding. The 80 acre farm is set in the beautiful Findhorn valley a mile from the road, surrounded by forests laced with tracks, beyond which lie heather-covered moors and the Cairngorm mountains. It is wonderful country for long or short rides.
All the horses and ponies at Logie are well-schooled and versatile. They are friendly and willing, being expected to carry beginner or expert, to go for a picnic ride, enjoy a lesson in the outdoor manege, jump round the extensive cross-country course, play mounted games, or compete in shows, gymkhanas, hunter trials or one-day events.
During the year, competitions are held at Logie Farm, cross-country, gymkhanas, show jumping etc. The empahsis on enjoyment and encouragement runs throughout the instruction and competitions. The latter are all scored on a positive basis with no eleminations: the better you do the more you score!
This attidtude gives everyone a sense of achievement through fun and vitality. When riders are happy, the horses are happy - a combination we strive to achieve at all times.
Since 1978 Logie Farm has been an official training centre for the Britisch Horse Society stages I-III and Preliminary Teaching exams. Following their thorough training, students have gone on to find successful jobs both home and abroad. A record of which we are extremely proud.
We speak French, German and Italian if required.
